Property Management Company seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for our Waukesha properties to join our team. A thorough professional with a minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience capable of performing day to day maintenance tasks of great variety such as, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, snow removal, & preventative maintenance.
Pay is negotiable upon experience, preferably in a multi-family residential setting. *$25-$32 per hour/$50k-$65k+ salaried*.The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality maintenance services.
Responsibilities:
- Perform day to day routine maintenance tasks, including repairing electrical systems, plumbing fixtures, appliances, and HVAC systems.
- Conduct troubleshooting and diagnose maintenance issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Respond to maintenance requests from tenants or management and prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment, systems, and facilities to identify potential issues and implement preventive maintenance measures.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and inventory of supplies.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and implement efficient maintenance strategies and schedules.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a residential or commercial setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong knowledge of day to day electrical, plumbing, appliances, HVAC systems, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong time management and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality maintenance services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
