This position will train on first shift (5AM-3:30PM Monday through Thursday, Fridays as required). After training is complete, it will transition to a swing shift (12PM-9PM Monday through Thursday). Eventually, it will transition to support a staffed second shift (3PM-11:30PM Monday through Thursday). Candidates applying for this role should be available for any of these shift hours.
Specific Responsibilities
- Follow manufacturing methods to perform normal job tasks in a safe manner.
- Work with a partner in most cases.
- Perform general clean up to keep work area clean and organized.
- Responsible to perform the equipment and facility preventive maintenance as scheduled.
- Contract service suppliers and materials for necessary repairs or PM according to plan.
- Information planning and production for the scheduled PM.
- Supporting manufacturing team for shorter unplanned downtime.
- High school diploma or GED; or three to six months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience working in an API Q1/ISO 9001:2015 environment a plus.
- Experience with Rockwell or Fanuc software a plus.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Possess basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
- Able to follow instructions.
- Good mechanical aptitude.
- General use of tools and measuring equipment.
