We are looking for a competent Lead Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance at one of our facilities. You will be responsible for working with staff and ensuring the smooth running of upkeep or repair operations. An excellent Lead maintenance technician must be reliable and have a great eye for detail. They must be willing and able to troubleshoot systems. Having technical skills and knowledge of various crafts such as carpentry, appliances, plumbing, HVAC, etc.. The goal is to ensure that the facility is well-maintained and in a safe condition at all times.
Responsibilities
- Assess and repair HVAC units, appliances, etc.
- Execute work orders created by residents
- Monitor inventory of materials and equipment
- Participate in the coordination of projects (e.g. renovations)
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations
- Periodically on call
Skills
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role
- Some technical knowledge of building systems (electrical, heating, etc.)
- Knowledge of health and safety practices and regulations
- Team player
- An eye for detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High school diploma; Degree from a vocational school will be a plus
- EPA 608 Universal Certified
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
