Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and demonstrate proficiency in various technical skills. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, performing repairs, and maintaining equipment to uphold safety and efficiency standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
- Perform electrical repairs and maintenance, including troubleshooting.
- Fabricate components as needed to support facility operations.
- Supervise and lead maintenance projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
- Execute painting tasks to maintain aesthetic appeal and protect surfaces.
- Keep tracking of work orders, inventory, and maintenance schedules.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure effective communication and coordination of maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Strong understanding of schematics and blueprints related to electrical systems.
- Proficiency in welding techniques is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise team members effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
