About the Role:

Compensation Structure:
- Competitive pay of $15.00 - $30.00 per hour.

What You’ll Do:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform ongoing maintenance and complete repairs in both occupied and vacant rental homes. Your daily duties may include (but are not limited to):
- Conducting routine and preventive maintenance in apartments, single-family homes, common areas, and amenities.
- Performing comprehensive inspections of buildings and units.
- Repairing broken or leaking plumbing to prevent water damage and restore functionality.
- Troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues, including working with damaged wiring.
- Ensure that heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems are fully operational; this may include servicing HVAC units, replacing fan motors, and replacing capacitors.
- Identifying and fixing potential safety hazards.
- Managing lock changes and other handyman tasks.
- Implementing preventive measures to mitigate future maintenance issues.
- Ability to work effectively within scattered sites, responding to maintenance needs across various locations.
Qualifications:
- Must possess essential maintenance tools.
- Reliable transportation is required.
- A clean and valid driver’s license is required.
- Flexibility to participate in an on-call maintenance rotation, providing evening, weekend, and holiday emergency services alongside team members.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Capacity to perform essential physical tasks, including frequent bending, stooping, and squatting.
- At least two years of maintenance experience is required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
