Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in facilities maintenance, ensuring that all equipment and systems are functioning optimally. This role requires a proactive individual who can demonstrate leadership qualities while supervising maintenance tasks and providing excellent customer service.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance on facilities, including electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical equipment.
- Interpret schematics and technical drawings to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
- Utilize an ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools to assess electrical issues.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols.
- Supervise and lead maintenance staff during projects, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or customers, providing exceptional service.
- Document maintenance activities and report any significant issues to management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems.
- Familiarity with electrical systems and the use of diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
- Excellent leadership skills with experience in supervising teams.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to interact positively with clients and staff.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
