Duties:
- Assist the Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring smooth workflow
- Manage inventory control, including ordering and receiving supplies
- Coordinate and oversee banquet events, ensuring exceptional service and customer satisfaction
- Train and supervise staff members, providing guidance and support as needed
- Monitor employee performance and provide feedback for improvement
- Assist with scheduling shifts and managing labor costs
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and resolve issues promptly
- Collaborate with the Manager to develop strategies for business growth
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the food service industry, preferably in a managerial role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of inventory control procedures and experience with ordering supplies
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in shift management and able to adapt to changing priorities
- Experience in interviewing, hiring, and training new employees
- Knowledge of hospitality management principles is a plus
- Basic cooking skills are preferred but not required
- Exceptional customer service skills
