Seeking an experienced, customer-focused team player to manage boutique wine and spirits store in Timonium. Previous management experience in liquor industry is required. Must be at least 21 years of age to be considered.
When you join our team as a manager, you will work in partnership with the owner to order beverages, receive and organize new deliveries, operate and balance cash register, collaborate on marketing strategies, and manage our team. Knowledge of wine, spirits, and beer is essential for an excellent customer experience.
Other duties include:
- Managing small team of employees, including handling human resources issues
- Maintaining customer list for email wine-tasting promotions
- Emailing wine-tasting promotions twice monthly
- Cleaning and tidying as needed
Physical demands
- Must be able to lift and move heavy cases of beverages, including up and down stairs
- Must be able to climb step ladder for product placement
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
Job qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must have a valid driver's license and own transportation to and from work
- Must possess excellent verbal communication and math skills
- Must practice effective time management and encourage the same of your team
- Must be willing to work some nights and weekends
- Must have passed Alcohol Awareness Training and submit to a criminal history record check
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.56 - $28.37 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
