Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager to oversee daily operations in our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food industry, with expertise in managing staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This role requires a hands-on leader who can effectively manage a team while fostering a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company policies.
- Manage inventory control and ordering processes to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Train, develop, and supervise staff to enhance their skills and performance.
- Implement food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Handle cash management and POS systems, including Aloha POS and Micros POS.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest concerns and feedback promptly.
- Assist in budgeting and financial management to meet operational goals.
- Conduct interviews and participate in the hiring process for new team members.
- Coordinate shift management to ensure adequate staffing during peak hours.
- Collaborate with kitchen management to ensure quality food production and presentation.
Requirements
- Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food service industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and culinary experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS).
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Experience in training & development of staff members.
- Understanding of food safety regulations and practices.
- Background in fine dining or casual dining environments is advantageous.
- Ability to manage inventory effectively while minimizing waste.

Job Type: Part-time
