Manager

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager to oversee daily operations in our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food industry, with expertise in managing staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This role requires a hands-on leader who can effectively manage a team while fostering a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company policies.
• Manage inventory control and ordering processes to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Train, develop, and supervise staff to enhance their skills and performance.
• Implement food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Handle cash management and POS systems, including Aloha POS and Micros POS.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest concerns and feedback promptly.
• Assist in budgeting and financial management to meet operational goals.
• Conduct interviews and participate in the hiring process for new team members.
• Coordinate shift management to ensure adequate staffing during peak hours.
• Collaborate with kitchen management to ensure quality food production and presentation.

Requirements

• Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food service industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and culinary experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS).
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Experience in training & development of staff members.
• Understanding of food safety regulations and practices.
• Background in fine dining or casual dining environments is advantageous.
• Ability to manage inventory effectively while minimizing waste.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $11.00 per hour
