.Responsible for sourcing, structuring and executing equity and debt financing transactions in support of TCB’s strategic plan, growth initiatives, and expansion into new markets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a senior investment banker covering metals, critical mineral energy clients and have strong relationships within these industries. The individual should also possess excellent relationship management skills to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders at all levels including but not limited to business development officers, credit risk management, underwriting, operations, compliance, legal, treasury and executive leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Sources, structures and executes equity and debt financing transactions for middle market companies operating across multiple industries including but not limited to Metals, Critical Minerals, Oil & Gas, Power Generation and Midstream.
- Actively participates in client development by working closely with Business Development Officers to identify opportunities, develop solutions and execute deals.
- Assists in expanding TCB’s brand recognition among key decision makers and influencers throughout target sectors.
- Maintains existing client relationships through regular interaction, proactive engagement and exceptional service.
- Partners with Credit Risk Management team on deal approval process, portfolio monitoring and loan administration.
- Collaborates with Underwriting, Operations, Compliance, Legal, Treasury and Executive Leadership on various aspects of transaction execution and client relationship management.
- Supports business planning efforts by providing insight and analysis related to industry trends, competitive landscape and emerging opportunities.
- Directly contributes to TCB’s revenue growth by actively participating in cross-sell initiatives.
- Ensures that all activities are carried out in accordance with established internal controls, risk management policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum ten years of relevant work experience, preferably in an institutional banking or financial services setting.
- Strong understanding of equity and debt capital structure and syndication techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex negotiations and execute large ticket transactions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Team player who thrives in collaborative environments.
- Self-starter willing to take initiative and work independently when necessary.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Bloomberg.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- Series 79/63 licenses required; Series 24 must be obtained within first year of employment.
