Job Purpose:
Set up and independently operate all types of woodworking machines. Must be able to produce quality parts in a fast paced environment, per process instructions.
Duties:
- Organizes work by checking work schedules.
- Load and unload production machines
- Perform work in a high-production custom manufacturing facility.
- Maintains clean and safe work site by removing scrap,sweeping, erecting barriers, following safety rules and procedures and wearing personal protective equipment.
- Set-up, operate, and tend to lathes, shapers, routers, sanders, planers, straight-line rip saw, drill presses, lathes, wood-nailing machines and the overall ability to process wood. Any CNC experience is a positive.
- Ensure that product meets company standards and specifications, communicating with the supervisor of any product that does not meet company standards.
- Maintains work supplies and materials by reading work orders; locating and verifying items in inventory; loading items on trucks or pull-carts; unloading items.
- Supports work processes by inspecting, preparing, sorting,weighing, measuring, cutting, adding, trimming, and loading materials.
- Select and adjust proper cutting, milling, boring, and sanding tools for completing a job
- Accomplishes organizational goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Skills/Qualifications:
Previous woodworking experience is highly desired. Lifting, Planning, Inventory Management, General Math Skills, Equipment Maintenance, Power Tools, Manufacturing Experience, Communication.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
