We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Budtender to join our team. As a Budtender, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while assisting clients in selecting the right cannabis products for their needs. Your expertise and passion for cannabis will help create a welcoming environment, ensuring customers have a positive experience.
Duties
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing product recommendations based on their preferences and needs.
- Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about various strains, edibles, and other cannabis products.
- Maintain an organized and well-stocked display of products, ensuring all items are accurately labeled and presented.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently using cash registers and POS systems while ensuring accurate cash handling practices.
- Process sales transactions accurately, utilizing retail math skills to manage pricing and discounts effectively.
- Communicate product knowledge clearly to customers, answering any questions they may have regarding usage, effects, and benefits.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and notifying management of low inventory or product shortages.
- Obtain and maintain a valid workers permit at all times.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with diverse clientele effectively.
- Experience with product demonstrations to enhance customer understanding of cannabis offerings.
- Proficient in cash handling procedures with experience using cash registers or POS systems.
- Solid sales skills with the ability to upsell products while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Competence in retail math and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey information clearly to customers and team members.
