Marketing Assistant (Part-Time)
Location: Columbus, OH
Hours: 15–20 hours/week
Compensation: $18-20 hourly, based on experience
Reports To: Marketing Communications Manager

Role Overview
We’re looking for a Marketing Assistant who thrives on creativity, attention to detail, and collaborating with an awesome team. This part-time role is perfect for a marketing student, intern, or entry-level professional eager to gain experience across digital marketing, social media, influencer partnerships, and brand storytelling. You’ll work directly under the Marketing Communications Manager and support a variety of initiatives that drive brand awareness, engagement, and customer retention.
Responsibilities
- Content Scheduling & Publishing
- Schedule weekly Google Business posts, SMS campaigns, and marketing emails (using pre-built templates and content)
- Publish weekly partnership event content in app; send monthly newsletter
- Help format and update marketing materials for launches and campaigns
Social Media
- Schedule Instagram/TikTok posts and stories
- Maintain and update the content calendar
- Assist with writing captions and sourcing user-generated content
- Monitor and respond to DMs, escalate or tag team requests as needed
- Engage with social audience: likes, comments, shares
- Occasionally contribute to brainstorming or creating reels/posts
Influencer & Partnership Support
- Research and reach out to local influencers (3-4/mo)
- Track deliverables, coordinate product send-outs; follow up for content
- Log influencer content and support campaign reporting
- Assist with coordination of brand collaborations under guidance of the Marketing Communications Manager
Creative & Campaign Support
- Organize and maintain a library of creative assets (photos, videos, testimonials)
- Support product launches and seasonal campaigns
- Occasionally assist with photo shoots or events
Performance Reporting
- Compile basic reports on performance across various projects, social, and influencer campaigns

Bonus Points (Not Required):
- Experience with Klaviyo, Canva, Later, or similar platforms
- Studying or recently graduated in Marketing, Communications, PR, or related field
- Familiarity with influencer marketing or content creation
