The Role:

We’re seeking a Marketing & Communications Specialist to join our North America Marketing Hub. This role blends marketing execution with a sales-savvy, conversion-oriented mindset. You’ll help bring EF Language Abroad to life through referral and ambassador programs, school outreach, strategic partnerships, and offline events—all while driving enrollments and growing the brand’s visibility.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales-Driven Marketing Implementation

  • Support and execute returnee and referral marketing strategies to drive conversions
  • Source and activate new offline opportunities, from events to student networks
  • Assist in mail/distribution logistics for program guides, materials, and campaign collateral

School, Teacher & Partner Engagement

  • Conduct outreach to schools, teachers, and educational counselors to generate leads
  • Build and maintain partnerships with student associations, clubs, and relevant organizations
  • Represent EF Language Abroad at fairs, events, and offline activations, occasionally requiring travel
  • Manage and maintain relationships with existing and potential partner institutions

Ambassador & Community Marketing

  • Oversee student ambassador program, including recruitment, activation, and engagement
  • Create and implement strategies that encourage community participation and content sharing

Digital Support & Maintenance

  • Manage and update online listings on third-party sites to ensure brand consistency and visibility
  • Collaborate with the marketing hub on CRM, email journeys, and content sourcing needs

Who You Are:

  • 2–4 years of experience in marketing, business development, or community engagement
  • Familiarity with modern marketing best practices, both digital and offline
  • Outgoing and proactive—loves connecting with people and building lasting relationships
  • Sales-focused mindset with strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • Self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
  • Able to travel occasionally for events, meetings, and school outreach
  • Passionate about travel, education, and the life-changing impact of language learning
