Position Summary

The Marketing Coordinator will support marketing initiatives for all entities of the Thomas E. Strauss, Inc. (TES) family of businesses. They will assist with the development, execution, and monitoring of email, digital, social media (promotion and reputation management), advertising and content marketing campaigns as well as marketing research. Position requires creativity and strong project management skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities


The Marketing Coordinator responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Create advertisements and promotional materials using the Adobe Suite of products including videos, print ads, social media, digital marketing, brochures, and more.
  • Support the marketing department's initiatives including the planning, execution, and tracking of marketing programs such as email marketing, events, social media, outreach marketing and content marketing.
  • Manage social media program and reputation management program for all brands, including Facebook, Google, TripAdvisor, Yelp, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and any other social media or third-party media outlets/vendors.
  • Create, proofread, and edit content for various marketing channels, ensuring consistent voice for each TES business unit.
  • Copywriting including advertisements, blog post, marketing materials and more.
  • Evaluate and monitor campaign performance on an ongoing basis by analyzing key metrics and creating comprehensive reports.
  • Help conduct market research and identify industry trends.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • Demonstrable graphic design skills in relation to marketing materials and advertising.
  • Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in marketing, graphic design or related field OR three years of experience in a similar marketing role
  • Social media experience including content development, reputation management and campaign management.
  • Ability to build relationships both internally and with external vendors or customers.
  • Above average writing skills.
  • Positive, “can-do” attitude
  • Creative and curious, with a desire to learn and grow professionally and personally.
  • Ability to communicate well - both verbally and in writing.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Ability to support multiple projects in a fast-paced setting that requires teamwork and collaboration.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud including InDesign, Premier Pro, Photoshop and Illustrator.

Desired:

  • Video editing skills.
  • Basic knowledge of website design and search marketing.
  • Basic knowledge of Google Analytics.
  • Experience using Mac OS.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
