In the midst of a historic time in the media industry, Bloomberg Media is growing its global footprint and reach through new innovations from Bloomberg Originals, Bloomberg TV+, and Bloomberg Businessweek, among others.Bloomberg is looking for a part-time Overnight Weekend Morning Master Control Transmissions Operator. Ideal candidate is focused, flexible, and proficient in several aspects of broadcast operations within a 24-hour live news environment.
We'll Trust You To: - Support the live control room including coordination and QC of inbound guest shots and IFB set-up, locating and routing pool feeds, as well as general support. - Maintain good rapport with on-cam talent, producers, and crew on-site and in-studio. - Monitor outbound global cable, stream, and fiber feeds including front facing Bloomberg Terminal and web feeds. - Ensure commercial and playback content are transmitting and switching appropriately from broadcast logs. - Work with Satellite and Fiber providers to coordinate the transmission of remote studio guests and feeds. - Work with crews on-site to establish an acceptable video signal, with a focus on Live-U. - Assist Bloomberg entities and affiliates with remote guests - Record global internal and external video feeds for edit and playback needs.
You'll Need To Have: - A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. - Demonstrable ability to work quickly and accurately, under tight deadlines in a client-focused environment. - Knowledge of color correcting feeds and QC'ing remote guests. - Knowledge of RTS PAP IFB assignment panel. - Strong organizational skills and attention Salary Range = 30 - 35 USD Hourly
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
