Material Handler II is responsible for the safe, accurate loading and unloading of product within the distribution center. The following duties and responsibilities are intended to be representative of the work performed by the incumbent(s) in this position and are not all-inclusive. The omission of a specific duty or responsibility will not preclude it from the position.
Duties and Responsibilities
Pallet/Case Picking
· Processing customer orders including but not limited to: scanning bar codes, picking and labeling boxes.
· Pick, pack and process orders.
· Processing orders through RF technology.
· Maintains an acceptable work area as outlined in SOP and work instructions.
· Responsible for following Good Documentation Practices (GDP) as outlined in SOP.
· Complete all necessary RF device training to obtain the necessary profiles
· Responsible for accuracy verification and shipment packaging.
Pallet Build
· Palletizing to include scanning, retrieving and placing completed orders on pallets.
· Re-palletizing products for shipment.
· May be responsible for dock manifest duties which includes scanning completed pallets and running the shrink wrapper.
· May be required to transport pallets by MHE.
· Responsible for accuracy verification and shipment packaging.
Inbound/Outbound/Inventory Movement
· Inbound/Outbound shipments are to be loaded/unloaded utilizing the WMS.
· Ensure every effort is made to load/off-load pallets in a manner that promotes safety and impedes damages.
· Completes all assigned duties in a timely manner in accordance with department standards and following department procedures.
· May be responsible for operating the parcel manifest station.
· May be responsible for transportation documentation

· Must follow all safety instructions to maintain safe working conditions and to adhere to proper operating practices and procedures designed to prevent injuries and illnesses.
· May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
Material handling equipment
· Material handling equipment must be operated in a safe manner by designated associates only. All damage and/or maintenance issues must be reported immediately.
· Equipment must be kept neat and orderly in compliance with established procedures.
· Must be able to maintain equipment certification at all times.
Job Requirements:
· High School diploma, GED or 2 years of relevant experience required.
· Experience with MHE. Including but not limited to Order Pickers, Reach Trucks, Counter Balance (slip and clamp), and Dock Stocker.
· Must be able to obtain Forklift Certification to meet BD guidelines.
· Good verbal communication skills.
· May be required to operate MHE and use Voice/RF scanner.
Summary
As a Material Handler/Forklift Operator, you will be essential in ensuring efficient materials handling within our distribution center. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, your role involves operating forklifts, cherry pickers, and reach trucks to manage inventory and fulfill orders accurately. Your core skills in materials handling, combined with premium experience in warehouse operations and heavy equipment, will support our shipping and receiving processes. Strong communication skills and a high school diploma or GED are required to thrive in this fast-paced environment, contributing to the overall success of our operations.

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
