Job Summary
The Material Handler 2 (MH2) is responsible for moving goods, loaded pallets and equipment safely and securely. In addition to driving forklifts, an MH2 also has a range of other manufacturing/warehouse duties such as packaging shipments, downtime cleaning activities, or checking inventories.

Duties and Responsibilities
Description
% of Time Spent
Load, unload, move, count/pick, stack and stage product and materials using a sit down or stand-up forklift, performing other material handling as required
Accurately pull and prepare product for use in production or for shipment
Responsible for filling out all documentation correctly and clearly
Inspect all materials during picking, shipping and receiving to ensure product number accuracy and material is free of damage, reporting any discrepancies
Keep accurate records and reports to ensure tight inventory control and security is maintained. Assist in physical inventories
Coordinate as necessary with all other departments/functions, especially customer service, transportation, and maintenance
Inspect any assigned equipment on a daily basis.
Assist in maintaining/promoting our Safety Culture
Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Lab coat, safety shoes, safety glasses, bump cap, hearing protection, hair net, beard net, and nitrile gloves
Perform other duties as assigned

Required: 3+ months of forklift experience
Preferred 1+ years of manufacturing / distribution experience
- Experience operating Sit Down, Stand Up, or Reach Truck
- RF scanning equipment experience is preferred

- Oral and written communication skills are essential
- Good judgment and decision-making abilities
