We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Mathematics Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics, along with experience in classroom management and instructional design. Experience in private school settings, tutoring, or Montessori methods is highly desirable.
Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and promotes critical thinking.
- Utilize various instructional strategies to enhance student understanding of mathematical concepts.
- Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design interdisciplinary projects that integrate mathematics with other subjects.
- Maintain effective classroom management to ensure a conducive learning atmosphere.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and advancements in mathematics education.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
- Proven experience in teaching mathematics at the middle or high school level, preferably in a private school setting.
- Strong skills in classroom management and instructional design.
- Familiarity with Montessori teaching methods is an advantage.
- Ability to conduct scientific research and apply findings to enhance teaching practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage students effectively.
