We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Meat Cutter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, particularly in meat cutting and food preparation. Responsibilities
- Cut, trim, and prepare various types of meat according to specifications.
- Ensure all meat products are handled safely and stored properly to maintain freshness.
- Operate knives and other cutting tools with precision and care.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about meat products and offering recommendations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of meat for meals or orders.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines related to food handling and preparation.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry, specifically in meat cutting or food production, is preferred.
- Proficient knife skills with a strong understanding of various cutting techniques.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends as needed.
