What You’ll Be Doing:
- Develop, update, and maintain 3D CAD models and detailed technical drawings using software like Solid Edge and SolidWorks
- Participate in machine safety reviews and make design recommendations to mitigate risks
- Collaborate with engineers, maintenance, and cross-functional teams to implement design changes
- Support product launches and improvement projects by providing design documentation
- Perform design modifications based on stakeholder feedback
- Stay informed on CAD software trends and implement best practices
- Ensure organized documentation and accurate records of revisions and milestones
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or technical degree with 8+ years of experience
- 3–5 years of CAD design experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Proficiency in CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidEdge, SolidWorks, CATIA)
- Strong knowledge of GD&T and manufacturing processes
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Experience conducting machine safety assessments and design for manufacturability
- Ability to lead or support multiple concurrent design projects
- Knowledge of ISO and safety regulations impacting design processes
- Familiarity with materials selection and cost optimization in design
