Job Title: Med Tech / Caregiver – NOC Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Reports To: Wellness Director / Executive Director
Schedule: Full-time / Part-time, 12-Hour Overnight Shifts
Position Summary:
The Peaks at South Jordan is seeking a compassionate and dependable Med Tech/Caregiver to join our overnight team for 12-hour NOC shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) in our specialized Memory Care neighborhood. This role is essential in delivering consistent, high-quality care throughout the night while promoting safety, dignity, and comfort for residents living with dementia and cognitive impairment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately administer medications per physician orders and community protocols
- Monitor residents overnight, including performing routine wellness and safety checks
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, and mobility
- Use effective memory care techniques such as redirection, validation, and de-escalation
- Respond quickly and appropriately to resident calls, alarms, and emergencies
- Document care, behavior observations, and any changes in condition clearly and promptly
- Maintain a clean, calm, and secure environment throughout the night
- Support morning transitions and collaborate with day shift team during shift handoff
- Foster a warm, supportive atmosphere for both residents and coworkers
Qualifications:
- CNA license preferred (Utah certification ideal, but not required)
- Memory Care experience
- Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
- Physically able to assist with resident mobility and respond to emergencies
- Reliable, compassionate, and professional demeanor
