Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Full-Time Medical Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this dual-role position, you will assist our medical staff while also managing front desk responsibilities, including phone calls and patient bookings. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Perform simple diagnostic tests and collect specimens.
- Draw blood and maintain proper handling and storage of samples.
- Sterilize and clean medical equipment and maintain examination rooms in an outpatient care setting.
- Administer medications and perform basic clinical tasks as directed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Manage front desk operations, including answering phones and scheduling appointments.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and address their inquiries.
- Help maintain a clean and organized clinical environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Certificate verifying successful completion of a medical assistant training program from an accredited school.
- Current certification as one of the following is required:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
- Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) from the American Medical Technologists (AMT)
- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) from the National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
- National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic office software.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for patient care and wellness.
- Color vision acuity is required to safely perform the duties of this position.

- $20-25 per hour
