Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care in various medical settings.
Duties
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
- Obtain and record patient medical histories
- Perform basic laboratory tests and procedures
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Schedule patient appointments and procedures
- Maintain medical supplies and equipment
- Ensure patient confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations
Skills
- Knowledge of dermatology, physiology, and basic life support
- Experience in a Level I Trauma Center or operating room (OR) is a plus
- Familiarity with medical-surgical procedures and coding practices
- Proficiency in medication administration and emergency medicine protocols
- Understanding of geriatric patient care is beneficial
Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Temporary
Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
- Rotating weekends
- Weekends as needed
- Weekends only
