Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Performs general nursing care for patients, including administration of immunization, antibiotics and performs treatments under the directions of the providers
Ensures established patient medical records are updated according to practice protocols, information is in place and computer templates are used
Greets patients and prepares them for the provider's examination, screens patients and reviews medications and reason for visit
Prepare equipment and aids provider during treatments, examination and testing of patients
Observes for , records and reports patient conditions, adverse reaction to medications and treatment to provider
Arranges referrals to specialists, tests and /or hospital admissions
Arranges and carries out patient call backs, medication refills and address other patient concerns , reviewing health advice with providers
Provide educational aids and information to patients by telephone or in person
Maintain confidentiality concerning patients medical and financial information.
Maintain exam rooms with necessary supplies and equipment in clinical area
Performs related work as required
Must possess exceptional customer service skills
Professional demeanor
Previous experience with Electronic medical Record system is a plus
Formal medical training preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
