Full Job Description:
Position Summary:
Responsibilities include back-office duties; answering phone, scheduling patients, referrals, billing, triaging patients, rooming patients, assist doctor with exams, process prescription refills, patient follow-up and processing of appropriate patient paperwork.

Principal Job Duties:
  • Schedule appointments by phone or in person.
  • Handle patient notifications.
  • Triage patients.
  • Process patient referrals, lab requests, etc.
  • Process prescription refills.
  • Prepare exam rooms.
  • Room patients, take vitals and complete patient intake forms.
  • Administer injections.
  • Assist physician with exams.
  • Proper processing of patient paperwork.
  • Provide support to team members in providing excellent patient care.
  • Demonstrate safe work practices.
  • Perform other tasks as needed
Qualifications:
  • Medical Assistant experience, certified or non-certified required.
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the job.
  • Good analytical, oral communication and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member.
  • Positive working attitude.
  • Ability to employ discretion and confidentiality in all areas.
  • Organizational skills/cleanliness of workspace required.
  • Good Attendance and punctuality.
