Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant experienced with front office and back office procedures,ready to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented with front office experience ( some clerical ) and back office (clinical )the ability to work independently in a medical office setting. They must also be compassionate, have initiative and be self motivated to excel in their role.
Responsibilities:
- Perform vital sign measurements and record patient information accurately
- Blood draw
- Medical Triage
- Utilize medical terminology for accurate documentation
- Check patients in / Check patients out
- Maintain electronic health records and ensure confidentiality of patient information
- Handle front desk duties including scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and verifying insurance information
Skills:
- Proficiency in medical terminology and coding practices
- Experience in a urgent care or clinical setting is preferred
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and basic life support techniques
- Ability to triage patient under supervision
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Advanced M.D. or ECW software experince a plus
