Universal Associate
- We are looking for an enthusiastic team player to join our team as a Phone Center Representative. This is an on-site position working at our branch office in St. Paul, Minnesota.
- Provide a range of financial services and assistance via incoming and outgoing calls; answers inquiries, process transactions, provide problem resolution and education on the benefits of credit union membership
- Deliver exceptional customer service to the credit union’s current and prospective members with a friendly and professional approach
- Maintain complete and current knowledge of the credit union’s products and procedures and regulatory/compliance issues to provide consistent and accurate assistance
Candidates for this position should:
- Be outgoing and have a can-do attitude
- Be a good communicator who will contribute to a positive team environment
- Be passionate about helping our members attain financial success and our associates attain professional success
- Be willing to participate in community and business affairs, as necessary, to contribute to the image of the Credit Union
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of customer service experience
- Phone center experience is a plus
- Familiarity with the standard products and services offered by financial institutions, including loans, deposits, electronic banking, etc.
- Must be a consummate customer service professional who is skilled at building rapport and genuinely enjoys helping people
- Excellent phone etiquette with a helpful and friendly demeanor and strong verbal and written communication skills
- Bi-Lingual in Spanish is a plus
- Strong computer literacy with ability to quickly learn programs and software
