Summary
As a Mental Health Counselor, you will be pivotal in providing compassionate care and support to individuals facing mental health challenges. Reporting to the Clinical Supervisor, your role involves conducting patient assessments, delivering behavioral therapy, and maintaining accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Qualifications
- Master's degree in Counseling or Social Work or Psychology or Mental Health Counseling or a degree in a related clinical area.
- Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), LPC, LCSW, LMFT or equivalent certification
- Proficiency in behavioral therapy and applied behavior analysis
- Experience in patient assessment and care
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation
- Skills in psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and motivational interviewing
- Familiarity with working with children and families, especially those with developmental disabilities or PTSD
