About the Opportunity:
A leading MEP consulting firm is seeking a MEP Field Inspector or Construction Administrator to join them in their Houston office. You will lead and oversee the field services process across all MEP disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing), ensuring quality, safety, and schedule integrity across construction administration projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle construction administration lifecycle during projects
- Oversee inspections and manage a master inspection schedule
- Serve as liaison between clients, contractors, and internal teams
- Help assign and delegate field personnel
- Review and resolve RFIs, submittals, and change proposals
- Ensure timely completion of field reports and inspection items
- Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and internal standards
- Collaborate with company leadership on project execution
- Make construction-related decisions in the field as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years working in MEP consulting in a translatable role (project management, construction admin, engineering, design, etc)
- Strong understanding of MEP systems and MEP blueprints/documents
- Experience in public works, k-12, higher education or closely similar projects
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
