About the Role
As a Retail Support Associate, you'll be a vital part of our store operations. Your primary responsibilities will involve maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our showroom and facilities, as well as assisting with the crucial process of receiving and preparing new inventory. You'll work collaboratively with other departments to ensure our store always looks its best and that incoming merchandise is handled efficiently and carefully.
Key Responsibilities
Store Cleanliness & Maintenance:
- Perform regular vacuuming, dusting, and general janitorial duties.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms to ensure a pleasant experience for all.
- Wash windows to maintain a sparkling showroom.
Merchandise Handling & Preparation:
- Receive, unload, and report on incoming inventory, ensuring merchandise is in good condition.
- Unpack, inspect, and tag accessories in preparation for display.
- Hang art and assist with arranging merchandise on the showroom floor.
- Load merchandise for customer carryout, providing helpful assistance.
Physical Demands
This role requires a reasonable level of physical activity. You will regularly stand, sit, kneel, stoop, bend, and climb. You'll frequently use your hands for handling and reaching, and occasionally walk and balance. The ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds is required.
