Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Level Supply Base Management Specialist(Level 3) to join our dynamic team in El Segundo, California.
This position will support Supply Chain activities for Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Commercial and Government Satellite products and services. This exciting position is fast paced and provides a unique opportunity to learn about and support the Boeing Space Business from a variety of areas. You will build a foundation of skills, experiences and partnerships necessary to develop and pursue more complex Supply Chain opportunities across the Boeing enterprise.
Position Responsibilities:
Facilitates supplier/subcontractor business relationships, in-service requirements and performance to contractual obligations and expectation- s Develops and participates in the implementation of supply base plans to support customer, program and commodity strategie
- s Analyzes and monitors supplier quality, delivery and financial performance data to identify risks, issues and opportunitie
- s Develops mitigation plan
- s Identifies and participates in supplier and business improvement activitie

This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
More than 1 year of experience with MRP (Material Requirements Planning- )
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or highe- r More than 3 years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier managemen
- t More than 1 year of experience in program management within supplier managemen
- t More than 1 year of experience in supplier management or supply chain managemen
- t More than 1 year of experience working with suppliers in a technical capacit
- y More than 1 year of experience creating, interpreting and/or enforcing technical requirement

Typical Education/Experience:
Typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
Relocation:

Travel:
Position may require travel up to 5% of the time.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $94,350 - $116,550
