Rochester Academy Charter School (RACS) is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Math teacher. We are actively seeking a dynamic and motivated member of the Middle School team. Math teachers have access to a full curriculum through Ready Classroom mathematics, and can use student data to enhance lessons, including with an intervention period. Middle School students get 90 minutes (2 periods per day of math). This is a great opportunity to build student skills and make a difference in the lives of young people. RACS is a small school community with opportunities for both leadership and mentoring support.
Ideal candidates will possess New York State certification. Candidates with out-of-state certification will be considered. Experience is preferred but not required. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Education or have completed a teacher certification program. Salary will be calculated based on possession of certification, years of experience, and possession of a Master's Degree.
