SERVPRO® Team Bisig is seeking an experienced and motivated Mitigation Crew Chief to lead field crews in emergency mitigation projects including water, fire, mold, and storm damage restoration. As a working team leader, you will oversee job sites, manage crew members, ensure quality work, and maintain strong communication with customers and supervisors.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise mitigation technicians on job sites

Communicate job scope and expectations to crew and customers

Perform and oversee water extraction, demolition, drying setup, and cleaning tasks

Take accurate moisture readings and monitor drying progress

Document job progress using SERVPRO® systems and software

Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and SERVPRO® standards

Coordinate equipment and materials needed for job completion

Resolve customer concerns professionally and escalate when necessary

Train and mentor crew members for skill and performance improvement

Provide daily updates to the Production Manager
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (college or trade school preferred)

3+ year experience in restoration or construction, with leadership experience preferred

IICRC Certification in Water Restoration (WRT) preferred; required within 90 days of hire

Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding environments

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Comfortable using mobile apps and job tracking software

Available for on-call shifts and emergency response as needed
