Key Responsibilities
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies and procedures.
- Provide excellent communication and customer service to our guests
- Proficient in minor repair, maintenance, and recall work
- Proficient with diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
- Communicate directly with the coordinator so that customers are well-informed of arrival times, recommended work, and any potential issues
- Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
- Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
Qualifications
- Ford technician certifications preferred but not required
- CDK DMS experience preferred but not required
- 1 -2 Years of experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Basic computer competencies
- Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with ability to collaborate with others effectively
- Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
- Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment•
- Valid state of residence driver's license with clean driving record
- Required to pass a hair folicle drug test and background check
