Job Summary:
We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Professional Mover to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for loading, transporting, and unloading furniture and other household or commercial items safely and efficiently. This role requires physical strength, strong attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload items from trucks, ensuring proper handling and secure transport
- Wrap, pad, and protect furniture and fragile items
- Disassemble and reassemble furniture as needed
- Navigate routes and drive company vehicles to and from job sites
- Maintain communication with team members and clients
- Follow company procedures and safety guidelines at all times
- Keep vehicles and equipment clean and in good working condition
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (required)
- Prior experience as a mover or in a similar physical labor role is preferred
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy items repeatedly
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
- Strong work ethic and a team-first attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
Work Environment:
This role involves frequent lifting, stair climbing, and working in various indoor and outdoor environments, sometimes in adverse weather conditions.
