Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Leader to join our dynamic team at a fast-paced quick service restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for the food industry, ensuring that our operations run smoothly while delivering exceptional service to our customers. As a Shift Leader, you will play a crucial role in managing daily operations, supervising staff, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.
Duties
- Oversee daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company policies.
- Supervise and support team members, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Assist in the interviewing and hiring process for new staff members.
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper stock rotation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the restaurant.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly.
- Collaborate with management to develop strategies for improving service quality and operational efficiency.
Experience
- Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within the food industry.
- Strong culinary skills with experience in cooking and food preparation.
- Familiarity with quick service fast food restaurant operations is preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on team development and motivation.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with staff and customers.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
