Summary
The Machinist programs, sets up, and runs all equipment in the manufacture and rework of mechanical components, including lathes and CNC grinders.

$29.13/hour

Schedule:
Monday through Friday - A shift - Overtime frequently offered
Responsibilities:
- Position requires working on all types of machine shop and sheet metal equipment.
- Uses precision measuring tools as necessary to verify the quality of parts manufactured.
- Uses the necessary measuring devices to ensure parts are adhering to customer requirements.
- May be required to operate more than one machine.
- Trains and advises peers as necessary in the manufacture and rework of component parts and assemblies.
- Maintains housekeeping and observes safety rules and practices.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 2 years of Experience with CNC equipment or a 2-year degree.
- Prior manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Prior experience reading drawings and/or blueprints is required.
- Computer literacy – knowledgeable/competent in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Able to use protective equipment, including safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, face mask/covering where required, and other protective clothing based on job assignments/duties.
