GeBBS Healthcare Solutions, a nationally recognized leader in Health Information Management (HIM) and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), is hiring Multispecialty Profee Coders with a Spine and E/M coding focus, to support our continued growth. We are seeking coding professionals with strong E/M and surgical coding backgrounds and a proven ability to work across multiple specialties in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.
Requirements:- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or equivalent credential through AAPC or AHIMA
- Minimum 3 years of active E/M coding experience for multiple specialties with a focus on Spine procedure/surgery coding, to include POS11, 21, 22, coding of in-office procedures across multiple specialties and able to code all types of E/M visits (ED, Critical Care, Home Health, Prolonged Services, etc.)
- Minimum 3 years of active surgery coding experience
- Recent hands-on experience with EPIC in one or more of the following work queue areas: Charge Reviews, Claim Edits, and/or Follow-Ups
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Experience with California Medicaid (Medi-Cal) coding guidelines – Strongly Preferred
- Certified Evaluation and Management Coder (CEMC) – Preferred but not required
Must have multi-specialty EM and procedure/Sx coding experience:
- Spine
