Position Title: Multimodality Technologist
Employment Type: Permanent
Compensation: $77,500 – $113,500 annually (commensurate with experience)
Shifts Available: 1 Day Shift Opening | 1 Night Shift Opening
Job Summary
Under the general supervision of a Radiologist, the Multimodality Technologist performs imaging procedures across multiple disciplines, with at least 50% of work performed in an advanced modality such as CT. This role supports both ambulatory and hospital patients, ensuring the delivery of accurate diagnostic images in compliance with established protocols.
Essential Functions
- Perform high-quality multimodality imaging procedures in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to established protocols.
- Utilize AIDET communication principles to ensure excellent patient interaction, confirm exam accuracy, and build rapport with patients and families.
- Educate patients and families on procedures, assessing patient readiness and tolerance.
- Prepare patients and procedure areas, including positioning, immobilization, and equipment setup.
- Adhere to safety protocols, including infection control, radiation protection, and sterile technique for invasive procedures.
- Maintain equipment and work areas; collaborate with engineers and physicists to ensure proper functionality. Report any issues promptly.
- Manage supply inventory and assist in maintaining department readiness.
- Accurately document and maintain patient information, histories, and consents in compliance with policies and standards.
- Screen individuals entering the department to maintain a safe environment.
- Serve as a preceptor for new staff members and assist with the rollout of new services and initiatives.
- Participate in on-call responsibilities as required.

Pay: $73,000.00 - $113,000.00 per year
