Job Summary:
We are seeking dependable and professional drivers to transport clients to and from medical appointments and deliver medical supplies, prescriptions, and specimens. The ideal candidate has a clean driving record, a caring attitude, and a commitment to safety and customer service.
Responsibilities:
NEMT Transport Duties:
- Safely transport clients to medical appointments, dialysis centers, hospitals, and more
- Assist passengers in and out of the vehicle, including those in wheelchairs or with mobility aids
- Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off based on scheduling needs
- Maintain accurate daily logs and paperwork
- Provide courteous and respectful service at all times
Medical Courier Duties:
- Pick up and deliver lab specimens, medical records, medications, and supplies
- Maintain confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive medical items
- Ensure deliveries are completed on time and documented properly
- Follow chain-of-custody and HIPAA guidelines
Requirements:
- Valid Alabama driver’s license and clean driving record
- Must pass background check and drug screen
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist passengers as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in medical transport or courier services
- CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to complete training) and complete required certifications
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and wheelchair transport

Pay: $21.27 - $23.02 per hour
