Responsibilities
Perform computerized hearing screening on newborns.
- Receive test requests and perform routine infant hearing screenings, prepping and placing of sensors and earphones.
- Maintain patient records and logs and complete chart review to identify high risk indicators for hearing impairment.
- Check instrumentation for malfunctions and maintain equipment.
- Follow guidelines for patient identification and result labeling.
- Interact appropriately with infants and handle problems concerning infant availability and physical conditions.
Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association OR American Red Cross accepted.
Education:

High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
