We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. This role is crucial in providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, have experience in hotel management, and be comfortable handling front desk operations, including night audits. Multilingual abilities are a plus, as we aim to cater to a diverse clientele. This position is for FRIDAY & SATURDAY nights only 11p-7a
Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently while maintaining accurate records of guest information.
- Handle reservations, modifications, and cancellations through multi-line phone systems and online platforms.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Conduct night audits as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms and common areas meet high standards of cleanliness and functionality.
- Uphold confidentiality of guest information while maintaining excellent phone etiquette during all communications.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective communication with diverse guests.
- Familiarity with night audit procedures is an asset.
- Proficient in using multi-line phone systems and basic computer software related to hotel management.
- Excellent communication skills with a professional demeanor at all times.
