Job Summary:
The part time Night Security Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of the organization during nighttime operations. Responsible for maintaining effective communication with vendors, managers and clients. This role involves overseeing daily work orders, coordinating with vendors, and addressing any issues that may arise during the night shift. They also play a vital role in maintaining detailed records of check-ins and outs received throughout the night. Overall, the Night Security Coordinator contributes to a secure and efficient nighttime operation for the entire organization.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Communicates effectively with vendors, managers, and clients to ensure seamless coordination and information exchange
- Completes night follow-ups to track status, address any issues, and ensure all guards are being checked in and out as required.
- Answers phones and group lines promptly, providing assistance and maintaining a responsive communication channel
- Sources new vendors when necessary to expand resources, improve service options, and meet evolving requirements
- Negotiates pricing with vendors when setting up work orders to optimize cost efficiency and ensure fair terms
- Manages IVR (Interactive Voice Recognition) check-in and out procedures, updates double systems, and ETA information as required to maintain accurate records and facilitate job execution.
- Maintains organized emails to streamline communication, find information quickly, and respond efficiently to inquiries
- Completes quarterly and annual self-evaluations to track personal and professional growth and contribute to ongoing improvement
- Covers on-call shifts (after hours and weekends) when required to ensure continuous support and meet client needs
Required Skills/Abilities:
- The ability to communicate efficiently with security personnel, vendors, managers, clients, and other team members is essential for coordinating nighttime operations.
- Able to speak confidently on the phone with vendors, managers and clients.
- Maintaining detailed records, emails, and work orders is crucial for efficient follow-ups.
- Managing various tasks, such as updating double systems, responding to phone calls, and participating in the Nighttime Follow-up Queue, requires multitasking abilities.
- Communicating information professionally and efficiently to all parties involved, including the entire service department, is vital for successful nighttime operations.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in security coordination, dispatch, or a customer service role.
Physical Demands:
- Continual periods of sitting at a desk and computer.
- Frequent reaching for files and documents, bending to file papers, and twisting to answer phone calls.
- Extensive use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and using a computer mouse.
- Occasionally lifting and carrying moderate weight (up to 25 pounds) of files, binders, and office equipment.
- Extensive use of close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

- Primarily working in an office environment with standard lighting and temperature control.
- Some background noise from colleagues, phones, and printers, but generally quiet working conditions.
