About Purple Painting
Purple Painting is a family-owned painting company serving Santa Barbara and surrounding areas. We're growing fast and looking for a reliable, experienced salesperson to help expand our client base through direct outreach. This is a structured, boots-on-the-ground role with a clear growth path into estimating and full-cycle sales.
Position Overview
You’ll start by knocking doors, cold calling, and setting appointments with potential clients. Over time, you’ll be trained to create estimates and eventually close deals independently. If you're a confident communicator with proven sales experience, this is an opportunity to grow into a high-performing role in a thriving local company.
What You’ll Do
- Knock doors and cold call residential and commercial leads
- Introduce our services and set qualified appointments
- Track leads and follow-ups in our CRM
- Follow a structured daily and weekly schedule
- Shadow and assist with estimates as you train
- Grow into handling estimates and sales independently and making your own schedule
Requirements
- Sales experience is required (door-to-door, inside sales, or similar)
- Must be comfortable with rejection and persistent follow-up
- Positive, professional, and organized
- Reliable transportation across Santa Barbara (Goleta to Carpinteria)
- Willing to start some days at 7:00–7:30 AM
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required
Compensation & Perks
- $16.50/hour base pay
- Flat-rate commission for each set appointment that results in a proposal
