Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse to join our compassionate team at Mercy Plus Healthcare Services. In this role, you will provide personalized care to patients with diverse healthcare needs, ensuring their comfort and well-being while supporting their journey towards healing and independence.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient health status and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and families regarding care plans.
- Assist with daily living activities to promote patient independence.
- Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection as needed.
- Manage catheter care and other specialized nursing tasks.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans.
Requirements
- Valid nursing license in the state of Michigan.
- Experience in behavioral health or memory care is preferred.
- Strong skills in phlebotomy and catheter management.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and education.
