Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse to join our compassionate team at Mercy Plus Healthcare Services. This role is essential in delivering personalized care plans that promote healing and independence for our clients. As a Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of those we serve.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in accordance with their individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Monitor patient health and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Assist with catheter care and other personal hygiene needs of patients.
- Conduct specimen collection and processing as required.
- Educate patients and families on health management and wellness strategies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Valid nursing license in the state of Michigan.
- Experience in behavioral health or memory care preferred.
- Strong skills in catheter care and phlebotomy are highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
- Compassionate approach to patient care with a focus on promoting independence.
