Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated LPN, or RN to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians, ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients in a medical facility.
Duties:
- Primary duty to triage phone calls and orders from patients and providers.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Assist with patient assessments and collaborate with the healthcare team to develop care plans
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any deviations from normal
- Perform routine nursing procedures such as specimen collection processing and gastric lavage
- Maintain accurate patient records and uphold HIPAA standards for patient confidentiality
- Utilize medical-surgical skills to provide quality care to patients in various settings
- Implement aseptic techniques to prevent infection and promote patient safety
- Provide care for patients with behavioral health needs in a compassionate and professional manner
Skills:
- Proficient in lifting and transferring patients safely
- Knowledge of spinal tap procedures and specimen collection processing
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient privacy
- Experience in medical-surgical nursing practices
- Competency in aseptic technique to prevent infections
- Ability to provide care for patients with behavioral health conditions
- Understanding of hospital standards and protocols
