Nurse Practitioner - Family Practice
Deliver a wide range of primary care services, including health assessments, preventative care, and treatment of both acute and chronic conditions.
Educate patients and families about healthy lifestyles, disease prevention, and self-management of chronic conditions.
Diagnose illnesses, injuries, and chronic diseases, develop individualized treatment plans, and prescribe medications.
Can work collaboratively with physicians, other healthcare providers, and patients to ensure coordinated care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records, often utilizing electronic health records (EHRs).
Perform minor medical procedures, such as suturing wounds, administering injections, and performing basic wound care.
Can focus on preventative care, including screenings, immunizations, and health education, to promote overall health and well-being.
