The Skilled Nursing Home Administrator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the facility and ensuring compliance with all applicable state and federal health and safety regulations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and oversight for all operational aspects of the nursing facility, including clinical care, staffing, financial management, and facility maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to long-term care operations.
- Oversee nursing care, dietary services, maintenance, recreation, and administrative support functions.
- Manage hiring, training, performance evaluations, promotions, terminations, and salary adjustments for facility staff.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and manage the facility’s annual operating and capital budgets.
- Supervise the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) education program and associated personnel.
- Serve as Wesbury’s designated Corporate Compliance Officer, ensuring adherence to ethical and regulatory standards.
- Participate in Wesbury campus-wide events and initiatives.
- Provide weekend administrative coverage as needed.
- Represent Wesbury at community events and professional engagements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Current Pennsylvania Nursing Home Administrator license in good standing.
- Minimum of five (5) years of administrative experience in long-term care preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years in a supervisory or management role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of managing multiple priorities.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with residents, families, staff, agencies, and vendors.
- Valid PA driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
